The Client\u2019s tasks:<\/div>\n

\n To provide the electric power supply of the ground-level storage.\n<\/p>\n

\nTo assemble, install and commission the control system of the ground-level storage handling transporting line with integration into the operative grain elevator control system.\n<\/p>\n

\nTo install and connect the grain leveling automated system.\n<\/p>\n

\nTo develop design solution for connecting the grain leveling automated system (the \u201cRobot”).\n<\/p>\n

\nTo perform all works within tight schedule.
\n<\/><\/p>\n

Production technological specifics:<\/div>\n

16 000 ton capacity ground-level storage.<\/p>\n

\nThe ground-level storage handling transporting line includes 2 bucket lines, 5 chain transporters, 2 belt conveyer transporters, 90 storage discharging latches, 5 mode grain leveler, reversing valves, aeration and aspiration fans, rotary valves.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe grain leveling automated system (the \u201cRobot”) is a packaged device with a robotized conveyer screw, loading trolley, and belt transporter.\n<\/p>\n

The main scope of the performed works and delivered equipment:<\/div>\n
    \n
  • assembly and installation of 0,4 kV distribution point (DP) with lighting and ventilation;<\/li>\n
  • assembly and installation of the latches\u2019 manual control distribution switchgear of the storage lower gallery;<\/li>\n
  • cable laying for the electric power supply of the distribution point;<\/li>\n
  • connection and automation of the executive mechanisms of the grain elevator equipment;<\/li>\n
  • lighting works in the lower gallery, internal and external lighting of the storage area;<\/li>\n
  • removing and connection of the operative switchgears into the distribution point with integration into the installed control system;<\/li>\n
  • electrical works on grounding contour of the storage area and distribution point with issuing of the measurement protocols and passports;<\/li>\n
  • integration of the operative handling routes into the integrated storage area control system with writing of the screen forms based on SCADA software product from Schneider Electric.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Our engineering solutions:<\/div>\n

    Design and delivery of the space-effective distribution point.
    \nRemoval and electric installation of the latches\u2019 manual control distribution switchgear to the storage lower gallery to save cabling and wiring costs.
    \nDevelopment and realization of the new solution on installation and connection of the current leads to the conveyer trolley.
    \nDevelopment and realization of the new solution on installation and connection of the cable laying machine.
    \nDevelopment and realization of the temporary electric power supply of the technological equipment to provide the grain elevator\u2019s uninterrupted operation.\n<\/p>\n

    Assembly and installation of the Distribution Point (DP)<\/div>\n

    The distribution point includes: the reactive power compensator, the switchboard for commercial accounting of power consumption, the input switchgear, the latches\u2019 manual control distribution switchgear (90 storage discharging latches), the latches\u2019 and conveyer transporter manual control distribution switchgear, the Robot control board.<\/p>\n

    Assembly and installation of the latches\u2019 manual control distribution switchgear<\/div>\n

    Installation of 10 switchgears in the storage lower gallery in close vicinity of the latches\u2019 electric drives. Initially these switchgears have been arranged in the module building.
    \n
    Our implemented technical solution has saved kilometers of cable, simplified cable laying and maintenance of the latches\u2019 electric drives.\n<\/p>\n

    Cable tray installation for the incoming cable line<\/div>\n

    The initial design solution suggested penetration and underground cable laying, which would have stopped the port operation for a few days. Our implemented solution was to lay cable in cable trays along overhead passing. This solution has considerably saved costs and installation time, and also reduced the number of permissions required for the works.\n<\/p>\n

    Connection of the integrated grain leveling automated system (the Robot)<\/div>\n

    Development of the parts missed in the Robot design documentation: the circuit diagram, mounting configuration of the cable layer and current leads.\n<\/p>\n

    Installation and connection of the grain leveling automated system, integration of the Robot into the storage area control system, including:<\/div>\n
      \n
    • writing program for the handling automated control system;<\/li>\n
    • development of the operator\u2019s machine interface for monitoring and control of the routes and status of the storage; <\/li>\n
    • integration of the Robot control system into the storage area control system with the option for the remote control and monitoring of the Robot status.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      Results:<\/div>\n

      \nUninterruptible electric power supply for the technological equipment of the grain storage handling process has been provided.\n<\/p>\n

      \nThe implemented grain storage integrated control system will allow shortening the grain handling operation time.\n<\/p>\n

      \nThe design documentation and design solutions have been revised during construction works; the design documentation has been developed in full conformity with the performed scope of work.\n<\/p>\n

      The implemented technical solutions enabled to:<\/div>\n
        \n
      • reduce the construction costs at the expense of the cable costs savings by 0,8 million UAH;<\/li>\n
