To improve electric power supply reliability of the electric generating equipment due to installation of new 6 kV cable line from the Central Distribution Substation «Oktyabrsk» to Substation«Oktyabrsk».
- area engineering and geodesic survey to specify cable route of 6 kV cable line from the Central Distribution Substation «Oktyabrsk» to Substation «Oktyabrsk»;
- design and estimate documentation development;
- receiving of expert approval of design documentation by Ukrainian State expert organization.
6 kV cable line has to be laid through the area with the intense engineering networks owned by the numerous private legal entities. Our solution was to do the crossing with the roads and engineering networks using “closed method” by means of the horizontal directional drilling machine. This technology has reduced the scope of digging works and shortened the duration of works.
Cable laying of two 6 kV cable lines has secured the interruptive power supply to the enterprise by two cross reserved lines from the electric grid of the Regional Power Distribution Company.
The benefits are: reduction of the temporary costs of the handling operations, increase of the volumes of the operations, minimization of the equipment idle time and penalties for demurrage time.
